BB Seaton christened Harris Lloyd Seaton, born September 3 under the star of Virgo. BB's music is personal by nature and universal in expression. A rare combination of talent, a singer with a soulful voice, accomplished musician, successful producer and arranger. One of the premier songwriters in the history of Jamaican Music.

BB Seaton's legendary musical career began in the early sixties. He grew up listening to groups like the Platters, Drifters, Temptations and the Four Tops.

He had his first big hit in Jamaica when teaming up with Delano Stewart and Maurice Roberts to form the "The Gaylads". They recorded the hit single, "Lady with the Red Dress On", on Clement Dodd's Studio One label in 1961. A series of single hits follows in addition two albums, "Soul Beat" and "Gaylads Sings Folk".

After ten years of working with companies in Jamaica like Studio One and Tip Top Records in the capacity of A&R, producer, writer, musician and backing vocalists, BB dedicated to go solo.

In 1972 he recorded his first solo "Accept My Apology" which was an instant hit and there was no turning back.

BB's version of Bill Whiters "Lean on Me", Persuaders, "Thin Line Between Love & Hate", "Rainbow Love", Miss My Schooldays" and My Jamaican Girl" were also hits.
His music continues to contribute to the rich legacy of Jamaican Music.

Currently, BB Seaton has twelve albums to his credit. "Dancing Shoe", "Thin Line Between Love And Hate", "Color Is Not The Answer", I'm Aware Of Love", BB Seaton Sings The Gaylads", "Wish Me Luck", Just One Moment", BB Seaton's Greatest Hits", "In Control Of His Own, "Everyday People", "Pleasure And Pain" and "Reggae Country Classics".

Throughout his musical career he has written numerous hit songs for Jamaican and international artists.

In his capacity of A&R, at Studio One, Tip Top Records and Beverlys Records, he auditioned artists such as The Heptones, The Melodians, Kingstonians, Lloyd Parks (Termites), Fredlocks (Lyrics), and introduced Jackie Mittoo to Coxone at Studio One.

He served as executive member and Vice President for the Jamaica Federation of Musicians. He received the El Suzie award as best song writer and the Jamaican Cultural Development Award for pioneering Jamaican Music as one of Jamaica's most recognized singers and Songwriters.

BB Seaton's ambition is to write a song the whole world would sing.
